Many of these collaborations have arisen through the Cambridge Cancer Centre (CCC), a virtual organisation formed to provide a central location for information about current and potential cancer research projects in Cambridge. The aim of CCC is to promote collaboration between researchers from a wide range of disciplines within Cambridge and the surrounding area, whose work has current or potential application to cancer research. The ultimate goal of CCC is to ensure Cambridge remains at the forefront of the ever-expanding field of cancer research, thereby providing the best possible treatments and therapies for patients.
