Support us

We aim to provide a world class environment for laboratory and clinical research into diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancers and produce world leading scientists and doctors through our education and training programmes.

The support we receive from various research councils, the National Institute of Health, charitable trusts, local and national charities and bequests, helps us to work towards achieveing our aims.

If you would  like to help us, you can make a donation to Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT).

ACT is the independent registered charity for Cambridge University Hospitals (including Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Hospital). ACT's main aim is to support and promote the work of the hospitals to help make a difference for patients, by raising extra funds to enhance services, facilities and research.

The charity has supported various initiatives linked with the Department of Oncology, including development of new buildings such as the Cambridge Breast Cancer Research Unit and acquisition of state of the art equipment, for example the Da Vinci Robot which is used in the treatment of prostate cancer.
