Daniel Muñoz Espín wins PROSE award
Congratulations to Daniel Muñoz Espín (Department of Oncology, Early Cancer Institute), whose new book has been awarded a prestigious PROSE award by the Association of American publishers. Since 1976 the PROSE awards have been honouring scholarly works in a number of categories across all areas of academic study.

Daniel, Group Leader in the Early Cancer Institute and Co-Lead of the CRUK Cambridge Centre Thoracic Cancer Programme, co-authored the book entitled Cellular Senescence in Disease with Prof Manuel Serrano, Principal Investigator at Altos Labs.

The book was selected as winner in the Biomedicine and Neuroscience category in the 46 PROSE awards. A panel of 24 judges chose category winners from more than 560 entries. Published by Elsevier the book is aimed at researchers and clinicians wishing to learn more about the cellular mechanisms of diseases.
